The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that enables you to dive anytime, anywhere, under the supervision of a PADI Professional and to a recommended maximum depth of 12m

This course introduces you in a controlled and safe way to the fascinating underwater world.

You will start to learn more about the “How’s and why’s” of scuba diving. It is great for those who want start diving and work towards full certification: PADI Open Water Diver, and those who don’t want to dive independently, but rather shallow and under supervision.

This course is a 3-part experience; after a theory session in which module 1-3 will be covered, you will go with your instructor to the swimming pool for exercise modules 1-3 and finally you will do Open water Dive 1&2 before certification.

  • Number of Dives: Three (3) Confined Water Dives and Two (2) Open Water Dives
  • Knowledge Development: Three (3) modules
  • Prerequisites: 10 for Junior Open Water Diver and 15 for Open Water Diver. Good health and reasonable fitness
  • Recommended duration: 1 – 2 days, depending on personal learning needs
  • Materials You’ll Need: PADI Open Water manual, log book. (Recommended; Open Water Diver Crewpack)

Equipment you’ll use during the course includes: mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and exposure protection (type of suit is depending on personal preferences)
